This wiring grommet is used to protect wiring from chafing and rubbing a hole through the insulation.  It also helps prevent water intrusion. It is used on all years, commonly on headlights, taillights, in the engine bay and firewall, and wherever wiring passes through the sheet metal in the body.  It fits into a 16.5mm hole, and can be used with one or several wires of many gauges by enlarging or stretching the hole in the middle.
