EMPI Hoover Bit, aka Doghouse Oil Cooler Air Deflector

The "Hoover Bit", or oil cooler deflector, is a very important piece that's missing from many engines.  It installs betwteen the late "Doghouse" style fan shroud and the oil cooler.  Its job is to prevent precious cooling air from escaping the engine through the gap, and to likewisee direct it to blow through the oil cooler.  This is designed by EMPI to fit stock and aftermarket 36HP style fan shrouds, although some modifications may be needed with aftermarket shrouds.
