Starter Bushing, 12V trans for 12V starter, Type 1

Worn out starter bushings are a common failure that can cause a starter to malfunction and eventually fail.  They should ALWAYS be replaced if replacing the starter.  This bushing fits 1967 & later Type 1 transaxles that are equipped with a 12V starter.  The earlier transmissions can still use a 12V starter, but an adapter bushing must be used, as the O.D. of the bushing is larger.
