Spindle Nut, Left Side, Link Pin '50 to '65 Type 1

Spindles nuts are used to hold the brake drum in place on the front spindle.  Adjustment is critical to hold proper pressure on the wheel bearings.  Remember:  If tightened too tight, the wheel bearings will fail prematurely.  Two nuts are required to hold the spindle in place. Left and right are different, as they are threaded in opposite directions. Remember to also have a thrust washer holding the bearing, and always use a new lock tab to keep the nuts from loosening.
