Rear Trans Mount, '73 and Later Type 1, Left Side

This is the late model trans mount that does not require the mounting plate between the frame horns.  It is used on '73 and later cars.  These work fine for stock or mildly modified cars.  For a stronger set up, the late cars can be converted to the earlier style mount and strengthened for performance applications by adding our HD Padded Trans Support Kit, if desired.  That kit will allow you to use the earlier mounts, and strap the trans in for a stronger set-up.
