Also known as a steering donut, this is the flexible steering coupler that installs between the steering column and steering shaft on your late model Bay Window bus.  Since it is a flexible rubber material, it can often crack and evetually will break entirely.  Make sure to check your steering coupler every time you check the rubber hoses, tires, etc.
