Fuel Pump Kit, Late Style, Clears Alternator, With 100mm Drive Rod & Gasket

Fuel pump replacement is really easy.  There are two "stock" models.  These are the "later" style, which were originally installed on '74 and later bugs.  They will clear an alternator, if your engine is equipped with one.  They require a 100mm pump drive rod, which is included.  If a later pump is installed with the wrong "early" 108mm drive rod, it will break immediately, so replace yours with the one included. Make sure to pack the inside of the pump (where the lever is) with grease before installing.
