EMPI 1-5/8" Competition Merged Header With Stinger, Raw Steel

This competition style raw steel merged exhaust is great for larger displacement engines that are restricted by stock exhausts.  It can be used with smaller engines, as well.  It comes with a stinger, which is super loud, but can be tamed somewhat by adding a baffle to it.  This system is compatible with 00-3701-0 (black) or 00-3703-0 (stainless) EMPI Phat Boy Mufflers, 00-3699-0 Dual Quiet Pack, & 00-3700-0 Hideaway Muffler.  This competition system eliminates your heater boxes.  Fits Sedan, Ghia, and Bus.  Not compatible with heater boxes. Black paint has been applied from the factory to protect the raw steel for transportation and storage only.  It will burn off immediately when the engine is fired up.  If a painted look is desired, the original paint should be stripped before installation and a high temperature exhaust paint such as VHT should be applied.
